Product Manager in travel, specialized in applied AI
15 years inside a tour operator building digital product and managing B2B business. Now I design and ship AI systems that solve real problems in the industry.
What does a Product Manager coming from travel do?
I'm Alejandro Berdonces, based in Barcelona. I've spent 15 years at a leading Spanish tour operator in ski and adventure travel, and I've worked across the whole company: first sales and on-the-ground operations —guiding groups of up to 2,500 people—, then digital product and IT, and since 2017 the B2B group and corporate business.
In the digital product stage I led the redesign of more than 200 landing pages, working on SEO, UX/UI and QA. In B2B I run the CRM (Zoho), channel KPIs and email marketing campaigns. That combination defines how I work: I understand the business behind the product because I've sold, operated and measured that same business.
I co-founded My Family Digital Album, an e-commerce app for iOS and Android: from idea to published product. And I'm now completing the AI Master's degree at Learning Heroes (2026–27), which I apply by building tools of my own that are in production and public use, not in a portfolio of exercises.
